What is the Rewards System?
Our Reward System is an optional program that incentivizes ticketbuyers to share your event, helping make ticket sales viral and word-of-mouth. There's no one better suited to sell tickets to your event than someone who already bought tickets to attend.
How does it work?
Each ticketbuyer gets a unique link with their purchase confirmation, along with information on how to share, and what rebates are available as more of their friends and followers pick up tickets through their link.
When their friends purchase tickets, they're rewarded with a partial or full rebate, depending on how many sold – with thresholds entirely under your control.
How do I use the Rewards System?
All you really have to do to use the system is turn it on, via the Ticket Settings section of your event's dashboard. The system is already set to optimize revenue and incentivize sharing, while minimizing the impact the rebates will make on your bottom line:

At just 2 tickets sold, your eventgoers can see results – a 10% rebate on their tickets – which pushes them to keep going. At 5 tickets sold, they're again rewarded, with just under a third of their purchase refunded. A great incentive, but not a lot of cost to you. Once they've moved 8 tickets for you, their well-earned free ticket cost you nothing but a bit of dancefloor space, and earned you 8 more people supporting your event – and potentially pushing the event to their friends as well!
Fo course, you're free to change those settings – to raise or lower the bar of participation and reward, and to make it easier or more difficult to earn a free ticket – but the default settings come from years of use and data from our technology partners at TicketFairy, the creators of this intelligent system.
Here's an example of one of our events and the results of the rewards:
It's reported elsewhere on the stats page, and worth noting here: None of the ticketbuyers reached a 100% rebate on their ticket – though some got close at 7 sales – yet for each $1 that was given out in rebates, $32.47 came back in revenue.
Would you spend $100 in ads on social media to make an additional $3000 in ticket sales? Invest that money rewarding your audience directly, instead of the social media giants, and keep more money flowing into the nightlife and music community. Its a no-brainer :)
