Event Details
The "Event Details" section of the Event Dashboard is where you will input the general information about your event.
1. Select your brand name from the dropdown menu
2. Title your event in this format: Party Name/Presenter: Headliner, Support Artist, Support Artist
3. The event URL will auto generate based on your event title. We encourage users to shorten this URL to keep it memorable
4. Select your event start and end date. (Note: purchased tickets will scan as "invalid" until the inputed date and time is reached)
5. Ticket Sales Start time auto-sets to when you are making the event, that's so as soon as you launch your ticketing page, your tickets can be available and on-sale. In most cases this would be ideal, but if you obviously have a future on-sale date planned and don't want tickets to go on sale right away, click into the field and select your date and time.
6. Event End Date auto-sets to to four hours after the event begins, if this is not correct click into the field and select your date and time.
Venue Details
The "Venue Details" section of the Event Dashboard covers the venue and location of your event, as well as how to make it private, so it can be disclosed later to your attendees.
1. "Search for an Address, a Venue, or a City" by starting to type your event's venue or address into the field.
2. Select the correct address, and the information will auto-populate the fields below.
3. Be sure to select the nearest Region to where your event takes place from the drop-down menu. This will ensure your event is listed in the proper area of our site.
4. Selecting the "Hide Location on the Event Page" option substitutes the address of your event with "Private Location TBA" on your Event Page:
This is only important if you're doing a private event where you would like address to be disclosed to Ticket Purchasers or RSVP'd attendees only - like an after-hours or warehouse party.
5. The "Location Disclosure Date" function is where you would then assign a Date and Time for the location to be released to ticket purchasers. Attendees will be notified automatically via email of the location of your event at the inputed chosen time. Afterward, any subsequent Ticket Buyers and RSVPers will be notified right away. Easy!
6. The "Additional Location Information" field is where you will input any information about the facilities themselves: Parking availability, rideshare recommendations, ATM availability, disabled persons' access, etc. Note: If you're keeping the location private or doing a timed disclosure do NOT put your event's location into this field. This information inputed into this field is immediately available to all attendees.
Event Description
The "Event Description" section of the Event Dashboard is where the details of your event will be inputed. This is where you will include a description of your event, who is playing, what attendees should expect, and any other public facing information.
1. This is where this is where the body of all the information that you want to be available on your event page should be placed.
2. This is a rich text box. You include pictures, videos, links, embeds, bold/italicize text, adjust fonts sizes; using the tool bar located just below the "Event Description" title.
1. Enable RSVP
This option turns on the RSVP field for your event. Email addresses from are collected from users who RSVP. That list will be downloadable and available to you for future marketing.
2. Set Event to Private
This option removes your event itself from any public listing on Restlessnites.com, which leaves your event only accessible via its direct URL (restlessnites.com/events/directURL)
3. Age Restriction
Use the dropdown menu to select 18+ and 21+, or All Ages
Additional Information
1. If you do RSVP separately on another platform, you can enter that here.
2. If you're doing ticketing separately on another platform instead of using ours you can enter that here and that will put a different ticketing button on the page for people to click to.

Ticketing fees are covered by ticketbuyers – more on that here.
How do you Want to Handle Booking Fees?
Booking Fees are paid by the Ticket Buyer at the point of purchase and are a percentage of the face value of the ticket. There are three ways to present booking fees to ticket purchasers
1. Added
Booking fees are added to the price. Customer pays the booking fees and is shown an all-inclusive price on the event page (Most Recommended)
2. Added Later
The face value of the ticket is what will be shown on the event page. If you're doing a $15 ticket, that's what users will see, and only once they click through to buy the ticket, will they see the fee added.
3. Absorbed
The ticket buyer does not see the fee. So, if you want to take home a $15 from the face value of the ticket, you would set your your ticket a little bit higher to account for the booking fee that will be deducted from your ticket sales. This is great for marketing the event as "No Added Fees".
Ticket Settings
The "Ticket Settings" section of the Event Dashboard comes with default settings. Feel free to dive in and customize these settings to best fit your event.
Ticket Sales Start and End Times (optional)
Ticket sales start and end times will import over from the Event Details section of the previous page. You may edit them here, or on the previous page.
Disable Rewards System
The reward system is set up automatically by default to be available. This is because we think it's a really important tool for promoters. What is the Rewards System? How does it work?
Collect and validate DOB against a minimum age
If you set the minimum age to 18+ or 21+, this makes ticket buyers provide proof of age via identification when checking out.
Enable waiting list after ticket sell-out
So if you have a hot event and it's gonna sell out, this is a way for potential attendees to let you know that there is still demand for tickets after they have sold out.
People enter their emails and then get notified when a ticket goes on sale or becomes available.
Built into the Restless Nites system is a ticket re-sale program. If somebody decides not to go to a sold-out event, they can put their ticket back up on sale and somebody from the waiting list can come and grab it. This sale will be reflected in your orders and payout.
Additional text to display on ticket PDF
This is another spot where you can add more information about the venue itself, parking etc... to be displayed on the ticket PDF.
Optional Attendee Tags
Define tags that can be optionally assigned to ticket holders, in addition to their purchased ticket type. This is a tool to help further segment your audience for targeting.
Anti-Scalping & Fraud Settings
The "Anti-Scalping & Fraud Settings" are several settings that are in place to protect you as a promoter.
Names required for each ticket
This setting requires ticket purchasers to input a different name for each quantity of tickets purchased. This makes it more difficult for bots or scalpers to purchase a large quantity of tickets all at once.
ID is required/Name checks enforced
Having all this information makes fighting charge backs from credit card companies much easier.
Ticket Types
The "Ticket Types" section of the Event Dashboard is where you will create various ticket tiers. It can be as simple as a single general admission ticket all the way up to complex festival style ticketing. Let's dive in!
You'll start off by clicking "Add Ticket Type"
This will open a menu where you will input the name of your ticket, price, quality available, and description(description will show up under an information icon next to the ticket tier).
Must be bought in multiples of - This function sets automatically to 1, which means customers are only required to purchase one ticket for access to this tier. But you may customize the required number of tickets in anyway you see fit. Individuals can buy as many tickets as they want, unless you change the maximum quantity per order right below.
Set custom maximum quantity per order - This function will set the maximum number of tickets attendees are able to purchase. This can help cut down on scalpers or inflated re-sale prices.
Hidden ticket tiers - You can create hidden ticket tiers. These tickets can be linked to through the "Promotions" section of Event Dashboard
Hide Tickets on - If you would like the ticket to disappear from your event page, you can enter a date and time here. Although we recommend leaving ticket tiers up on your page as they sell out because it encourages sales for later tiers.
Enabled - This function enables the tickets for purchase on your event page.
This ticket has different door times - This allows you to set different door times for different ticket tiers. This can be helpful if you have multiple showings of a screening, or a ticketed pre-event - like a Meet-And-Greet. This function allows for you to sell all your tickets on the same event page.
Set custom maximum quantity per account - Here, you can make it so that users cannot purchase tickets more than the allotted amount on the same account.
This ticket type should be available:
Always - This is generally the default for the first ticket you upload. This is also the setting you will want to use for any subsequent ticket type that needs to stay available throughout the sales period for your event - such as VIP Tiers, etc.
Either when the previous ticket type sells out, or at a specific time on a specific date - whichever comes first - Select a time and date and if the tickets are not sold out before this date is reached this function will take them off-sale. This setting combines the two following settings to keep your sales flowing.
At a specific time on a specific date - This function will take this ticket tier off sale at a specified time and date.
Once the previous ticket type sells out - This function will bring this ticket tier on-sale once the previous ticket tier sells out. (useful if you plan to have Early Bird, GA, etc)
Add-Ons
The "Add-Ons" feature of the Event Dashboard is for adding merch, for purchasing ahead on options like parking or a skip-the-line-pass, or the ability for people to pay for certain experiences at your event.
You simply input the name of your Add-On, price, quantity available, a photo (not required), and description.
You can limit this Add-On to certain ticket types (such as a VIP purchaser receiving a free merch item) or assign the quantity available to a specific ticket type.
Add-Ons will be presented as customers are checking out with their tickets.
